Hand Made Christmas Cards For Kids!Tuesday, 25th November 2008 
Robyn Welsh is Aunty to Kody James, a young boy that was diagnosed with leukemia in April 2007.
Robyn spent a lot of time at the Hospital during Kody’s treatment and felt the need to be involved somehow, to make a difference and help support the Westmead “Families” with her amazing card making skills.
Robyn and her crafty friends, including Grandmother Marlene started making Christmas cards for Cure Our Kids to help fund our much needed support services for the Oncology ward.
Robyn’s life is pretty busy being a foster parent, and checking on Kody, who is doing well, and has managed to make over 350 cards that have been successfully sold raising over $1000 for Cure Our Kids in 2008. Well done and thank you Robyn and Marlene. |
