A Pitch For MitchWednesday, 5th November 2008 The fundraising Dinner for three year old Mitchell Giffney was held at the St Mary’s Band Club on Friday the 17th October. With a full attendance of 350 friends and family the evening was a real success and Mitch showed no signs of slowing down.
The emotions and generosity were overwhelming for the Giffney family, with $15,208.50 being raised on the night and going to Cure Our Kids. A staggering 104 raffle prizes were won, 33 Major Auction items went under the hammer, along with 30 silent Auction items.
Del & Andrew Paech, Lee & Angelo Di Lorenzo, Claudette & Daniel Elrassi joined Les Galbraith, Chairman of Cure Our Kids and his wife Julie for a fun and meaningful night. |
