50k’s for Kids!Tuesday, 23rd March 2010 
Cure Our Kids has been selected as one of three charities to benefit from the charity fundraiser, 50k's 4 Kids – A walking challenge in support of children with cancer. 50k’s 4 Kids is a two day 50km walk through Sydney's most spectacular harbour and coastal regions to raise money kids with cancer, to be held 10 – 11 April. The event is the brainchild of Noel Carroll, a successful Sydney businessman and philanthropist and great supporter of Cure Our Kids. A team of keen walkers and fundraisers aim to raise $50,000 to support children with cancer and their families and cancer research. Cure Our Kids, Bear Cottage and Children’s Cancer Institute Australia are the three charities to benefit from this unique fundraising challenge. Each dollar raised will be matched dollar for dollar by a very generous and anonymous sponsor!
Everyday Hero has partnered with 50k's 4 Kids to provide an easy to use online fundraising webpage for each participant entering this worthy walking challenge.
Day 1 - Saturday 10 April
7:00am - 1:00pm
Maroubra to Watsons Bay via Coogee, Bondi Beach, Dover Heights & South Head. Finish up at the Watsons Bay pub! TOTAL 24 km
Day 2 - Sunday 11 April
7:00am - 1:00pm
Cremorne Point to Manly via Mosman Bay, Taronga, Balmoral & Spit Bridge. Finish up at the Manly Wharf Bar!! - TOTAL 26 km
