Family, Friends & the Speedway Community once again honoured Scott Darley out at Typrepower Parramatta City Raceway on Tuesday 5th January 2010. On this date, the Scott Darley $50,000 To Win Race was held for the second year in Scott’s memory but the 11th year in total.
Cure Our Kids are grateful for the Darley Family once again including us into their evening where hats branded with Scott’s Logo were sold to raise funds as well as unclaimed prize money from the 50/50 Draw was also donated to Cure Our Kids, “Scotty’s Charity”.
The total raised on the evening was $5285.00. That amount combined with the amount raised last weekend on Scotty Day ($1465.00) brings the total amount raised in memory of Scott to an amazing $75195.51!
A huge thank you goes out to all involved on the evening as well as to our friends, The Darley Family!
During the Australian and American anthems, Luke Darley drove the Litre Car that Scott won his Australian Title in while Bruce, Rhonda and Kate Darley stood honouring Scott in the background
