Mt Kilimanjaro Challenge

Conquering Mount Kilimanjaro will be tough…

…but not nearly as difficult as the challenge my family
and i have been through since receiving the terrible news.

The 6th of the 6th 2006 marked the beginning of a journey that changed my family’s life forever. My youngest sister Tiffany was
diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. I remember that day clearly, and the turmoil of emotions that overwhelmed us all…

When you’re faced with the prospect of losing a family member it feels as though the world is crumbling beneath your feet. And all you can
do is hold on for dear life to one another, and to your hopes that they’ll pull through. When Tiffany was at her worst all I kept thinking was
“I would do anything to help her get better”; but I just felt so helpless.

Two years on, I’m deeply thankful to say that Tiffany is doing well on her road to recovery. She’s not out of the woods yet, but we’re
confident that she has overcome the worst. I no longer feel so helpless, whilst I have no cure, I know I can make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by childhood cancer. Which is why I’m embarking on a trek to scale Mount Kilimanjaro to raise fund for Cure Our Kids, and why I need your support.

Please show your solidarity by making a donation to Cure Our Kids.
Together we make the journey easier for families facing the most difficult challenge of their lives.
