The Kids Care Invitational (TKCI) is an annual charity golf tournament which was started in 2005 by a bunch of 12 avid golfers (the numbers have now increased to 16). The aim of the tournament is to bring together a great group of blokes and play some of the finest golf courses in Australia, and possibly the world. The emphasis is on fun and camaraderie, with the purpose of raising money for charity.
To date TKCI has raised almost $285 000 for Cure Our Kids.
In the first year (2005) they played at 3 of the best golf courses on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, in 2006 they played 3 of the best golf courses in South Australia, in 2007 they played three of the best golf courses on the Gold Coast and in 2008 they travelled to Western Australia and played at Lake Karrinyup, Joondalup and The Cut. A great experience which was made even better by the great weather we had.
