Thanks to the support of the Golden Stave Foundation, Cure Our Kids has been able to employ a Play Therapist, whose job entails helping children release stress and express their emotions through structured play.
The Foundation's generous support since 2005 has amounted to $45,000.
From humble beginnings in 1978 The Australian Music and Entertainment Industries held the first Golden Stave lunch at the infamous Sebel Town House. The annual luncheon has grown in stature and notoriety to become one of the Australian premier charity events. Their key focus is to assist children’s charities that are most in need.
