Charlotte Best

Charlotte Best was born in the Coastal town of Gosford, NSW.

Charlotte often says it's very competitive when you have three brothers, and to say she is a 'triple threat' is an understatement. At an early age Charlotte was singing and dancing (Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop). However, Charlotte also excelled in areas of sport, and music.

Charlotte's parents encouraged and nurtured her passion for the arts, theatre and music. In 2004, Charlotte followed a modeling career, with regular work for both 'Barbie' and 'Total Girl' Magazines. She also toured Canada and USA with the Central Coast Grammar School Choir.

Charlotte entered the field of acting being tutored by British television star Alan Coleman from 'Eastenders'. This was followed by her 'Cinderella' performance in the Gosford Musical Society production, a role in the short feature film 'Silence Before the Storm, several television commercials, and an appearance on 'Comedy Inc'.

In 2007 Charlotte auditioned and secured the role of 'Annie Campbell' in the award winning drama series 'Home and Away'. The series is telecast internationally to more than 170 countries. In 2008, Charlotte was nominated for 'Most Popular New Female Talent' Logie.

Charlotte is proud to be an ambassador for Cure Our Kids as well as the face of The Cure Our Kids Netball Cancer Challenge 2009.
